This is my 08 Tacoma and I love it! It rides smoother than I would ever have thought and I love how high up you sit. Mileage is decent and it has really come in handy when transporting items from Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. It's also been great to be able to throw my bike in the back and head to the park. Can't think of a single complaint other than the crappy Dunlops they put on it. But I replaced them with Michelins. Best bet would be to let her take it for a test drive and have her see for herself how much better they are than the other ones she's considering.

    Bone stock, for now.
I'm relatively new on here, but I'm a chick and I love my Tacoma. I had a "pre-Taco", a 1987 4WD Toyota pickup, and it had close to 200K on it before I gave it away to an amateur mechanic who promised to give it a good home (and a new timing chain--it still had the original timing chain, and it was just starting to go). I now have a 2006 black sand pearl 4WD double cab 6sp MT Tacoma TRD Sport, and it's mine...all mine. Just finished paying off the loan on June 1. I'm a loyal Toyota person, so I didn't really consider any other makes/models. In fact, I had to fly to MD in order to get the 6 speed manual tranny--couldn't get it here in IL.
I love my Taco. It handles well (better than many American-brand cars), is fun to drive, and looks dman good. It's my winter vehicle as well as my rowing shell/kayak hauler, hay and horse feed hauler, and general all-around hauler of stuff. In good weather, I drive my MR2 Spyder--it gets better mileage, and it's a convertible. :)

I find it funny how every now and then someone starts one of these threads, yet we never see any pictures of the gals

I didn't think that was the OP's request but alas, we don't take pictures of ourselves with our trucks, or on our trucks, we get in our trucks and drive them. ;)

Start a thread requesting everyone's pictures and perhaps some of us might feel more compelled, and/or more comfortable sharing some.
