E-Locker rear axle swap mod?

So i hit 70,000 in my 05 prerunner double cab long bed yesterday.. No problems and i love being a tacoma owner!!

But i was wondering if anyone has swapped there LSD axle for the TRD e-locker axle???

There's been some discussion to it. Most of us have come to the conclusion that it's cheaper/easier just to buy an aftermarket locker (like the ARB air locker).

 

I think is do able for about a grand but it isn't gonna be Toyota OEM wiring and switches.

You should be able to find a complete rear end for less the a grand and then pick up the wiring form 12 volt guy for less than $150.

But if you want factory install that will cost ya.

 

I'm thinkin junkyard treasure hunt for all of it.
