Any shop can do the alignment. Sears did mine when I had the 3" lift on and they were able to get the numbers I wanted.

Is it possible to run 285/75/16's and move the LCA forward and not have any issues with contacting the cab mounts or anything else? And still get the alignment back to the "ideal" settings? Sorry if this is the wrong thread.

Possibly but you'd need something like LR UCA's to do that type of adjustments.

    Hi Toku and Chris,

Are these also applicable for the 2.5" lift?

What is the recommended caster for 32" tires at 2.5" and 3" lift?

With the smaller tires you may be able to get away with a bit less Caster.

But these numbers are still good!

Thanks for the thread, I have the high speed jiggly problem after a fresh lift install. Ordered the LR UCAs, hope it takes care of the problem.

I found this thread while trying to compare the different types of UCA out there.

    LR UCA's ordered
885's at Zero on 5100's were more than the stock UCa's could handle.
Can not reach 2+ Caster without suffering camber.
    Thanks for posts everyone!

I am looking to install the Ultimate Lift (Toytec) with a 3" lift and I am undecided as to which uca to install. Please help as I would like to install the Camburg with the 1.25 uniball as opposed to the TC with 1" uniball. Is there any difference to get the proper alignment numbers between the two uca's? Is there a benefit to the 1.25 uniball?

From what I have seen, the 1.25" uniball takes away clearance with the spring. A 1" uniball will be more than enough.

I just purchased Pro Comp LT285/75R16 all terian tires. I understand UCA are not allways required but do make a differance in keeping up to factory specs.

spidertraxx, ultimate lift kit by Toytec, LR UCA's. Kenwood 5140 Double Din, WeatherTec Floor Liners. Custom Box Build for 12 Inch PS3 with Punch 250. 15% tint all but front winshield, which is 35%, Katskinz Leather, SR5 Sockmonkey Decals, BLacked out badges, blacked out wheels, LED third light.
ok well staying on topic here, I have the ultimate toytec 3 inch kit newly installed with 285's and spidertrax spacers. I have decided on the LR UCA's and just curious, if I leave the spider's on will it give additional clearance? Will homosexual guys chase my truck because it looks gay?? Or will it push the tires out a little further looking kickass cool?? No offense to the gay guys, just don't want to give ya a excuse to chase my truck!!

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    Me too; is this normal?

That's about par for the course when you do a 3" lift. Your camber will be high. Ideally you'd want 0* camber or slightly negative.

I always align them with .3 to .5 a degree of caster more on the passenger side. It corrects for the crown in the road which when the caster is equal can cause a vehicle to pull.

I installed my LR UCA's this past weekend, and the Steering wheel vibrations are gone. Thanks!

Still need to get it aligned, and there is a slight vibration in the gas pedal now. very slight.

interestingly when I installed the UCA's the ball joint boot was touching the 886 coils I have while it was on jack stands. once I lowered it, I can get my fingers in there without touching either. is this normal? set to zero fyi.
