    Soon....
Not sure why you'd be getting a vibration in the gas pedal...

Just installed my Toytec lift and I have the same issues addressed in this thread. great post. The only numbers I should specifically ask for is +2.4 caster, and 0 camber since I have 285/70/17's, right? I also dont remember seeing a steering damper, like the older trucks used to have. Installing one of those should help with the problems too right? Can you even install one with IFS? Thanks for the help!

Got it aligned yesterday.. 0 camber, 0 toe, 2.2 caster on both sides.. the Steering wheel as no vibrations and it is the smoothest it has been since the beginning. I do have vibes in the pedals or floor, but slight. It is great to have it so smooth down the freeway like it was. Thanks.

    Toku or Chris,

I just installed 285/75/16. Wheel has 4.5 backspacing. The camber, caster and toe are identical to Toku's post below.

    Capture.jpg

But, SAI and included Angle are off the specs (see below). Are these items important? Firestone said it is nothing to worry about but I'm concerned because everything was fine before. How will these be corrected?

    LEFT ------- RIGHT

    17.9 - SAI --- 11.7
    17.9 - Included - 11.7

I searched the net and I found the answer. I guess I'll look at my suspension to check for bent parts:(

Definition of SAI and Included Angle is below. Maybe Toku can add this OP.

That information is already in the OP. That is actually from one of the links in my original post.

Hey guys I am gonna have an alignment done. After reading all this what should my ideal settings be at?

    My setup-
    5100's set @ 2.5" up front and a Wheeler's AAL. Tires are 275/70/16 Toyo Open Country AT's.

Here is my last alignment -

    Caster left - 1.48
    Caster right - 1.55
    Camber left - .50
    Camber right - .46
    Toe left - .02
    Toe right - .03

Does this sound right? I didn't think it did, but my truck drove straight and it was only $50. What do you experts think?

Thanks! Is their somewhere where we can plug in our specs and get a good range of where the specs should be at? Thanks bud!

How did you come up with numbers? Is their a place where we can put in our tire size, lift, etc. to get numbers like you came up with?

I dont think there is.....The numbers I have posted, are what I have found worked best on other trucks, as well as my own.

Thank you very much, but I am a little concerned since I am running only a 31.2" tire per the tire/wheel calculator.

Shouldn't I be between 2.1*-2.4* since I don't have 33's? Or does my 2.5" lift play into into where my caster should be? Thanks for the help!

I am no expert, but I am running the stock 265/75/16 tire with 0 Toe, 0 Camber, 2.2 caster on both sides and it drives great. I got all my Vibrations figured out finally last weekend, it's a New truck! The alignment is a big piece of that.

After all the research I am going to go w/ 0* Camber, 0* Toe, and 2.1*-2.4* caster. We will see how she comes out!

I am sure it will come out fine! I had problem with my front end too high, but I am 4wd.. and I think you are Prerunner.. right? It will all work out.

Yes, I am a Pre-Runner and already a tad noise high. But that is because I had new springs I got for free (5k) on them when I put my 5100's set @ 2.5" back in April. Plus I have a Gaylord's tonneau that adds weight to my rear. I love her stance right now!

I just has the bilsteins 5100's installed on all four wheels as well the Toytec 1.5" AAL in the rear. The front were set at the maximum. I have only been able to drive it for a few miles since the installation because of an injury. Although evreything seems fine, the ride is a little different obviously because it's been lifted, but nothing else.
Are you saying that I should have an aftermarket Upper Arm Control assembly installed? I looked at the Toytec website and didn't see a set available for my year and model(2002 double cab preunner 2wd). Any suggestions?

Sorry Frank, don't know the 02's very well. 2.5 is max on the 5100's and I don't think you would need the UCA replaced. I have a friend with the First Gen with stock UCA and a 3" OME lift.. Hope it helps! Maybe someone here with a 1 Gen can chime in..
