Does upgrading the exhaust and air intake void warranty?

    It will only void parts of your warranty if it is deemed to cause some sort of failure.

    For instance, if they can prove that your air filter let in too many particulates, then your engine locked up, they could try to deny a warranty claim.

    I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
    You were reading the trd catalog, weren't you? I asked my dealer's parts dept. the same question after reading the same stuff. They got their book out and showed me where it pretty much says as long as it's their part that they put in you're covered. I can't say for sure about putting in their parts yourself. Your last name could be Toyota and they'd probably try to tell you your work was faluty and you're voided. Anything to make or not spend a buck.

    they have to prove that the failure was directly caused by the mod. and if its trd they really can't even try to say squat.

    always save stock parts, especially bolt ons like exhaust on intake. then you can always put back oem and stick in their arses

    Step bars, billet grill with custom TOYOTA, MB Quart RSI 216 components, Hifonics ZXi 4410, RAAMmat deadened doors/back wall/roof covered with ensolite , 24" Magnaflow muffler, hand polished stock exhaust tip, tinted, OEM TRD Bilstiens all around with 1/4" spacers up front to level it out. Sport wheels added.
    It would obviously void the warranty on that particular part that you are replacing.
