if u had to do it all again what would u choose.

I have a 2nd gen. If u guys were gonna choose tire sizes all over again what would u go with? my 3" lift is in and i cant make up my mind on 265/70/17 265/75/17 or 285/70/17. What else do i have to remove on truck besides the mudflaps for rubbing issues.

 

I'd personally go 16's...but that's just me.

You might have to trim plastic away from the inside of the fender well...Kinda gotta wait and see based on the tires and the tread you get....cause they can all be a little different

 

you wanna go bigger, but not kill your mpg as bad at the same time.

 

I run 285's but they are on 16's.
As for tires I would not change a thing, true I had some rubbing issues but all of those were minor and an easy fix.
My MPG's are down a little, but then again I don't drive it alot and do a fill up maybe once a month.

 

does ne one know how much mpg u will lose on 285's firestone dest. a/t?

i wanna go 17s because i cant find the wheels i want in 16s

 

I have 285\70-17 on a 3" lift. I lost about 2 mpg with the setup.. i think its worth it though

 

I have 255 75 17 BF Goods ( Came stock on the Jeep Rubacon's)
(32" Tire!)

 

Im quite partial to the 33's on 16 set up I have lol

 

im running 285-65-18s i like them but they rub on the frame a little

 

285's on 16's here... next i think i'll push the limit and go 34 or 35's...

 

i would go with 18's personally 285-60-18

 

i had that setup originally on my truck... moto metal 951's with nitto terra grapplers.. it looked really sharp..
