Looking to Buy a 2008 TRD Sport - Good Price?

Hi Guys,

I live in Socal and looking to buy a 2008 TRD sport double cab with a long bed and tow package. What do you guys think is a solid price out the door for one of these? I am looking to spend around 26k. Is this reasonable? I'd like to hear what any of you have paid out the door so I know what to expect.

Thanks,
Gil

Most of the tacos with a TRD package will have the towing package too, but if you haggle with them a little bit you should be able to get close to 27k out the door. the sticker on mine was 26k, and i was out-the-door at 27k with an extended warranty and a service package, but i didnt bitch too much because i needed a truck. the sticker price on a double cab long bed with the sport package should be around 29k-30k, so i dont know if you could get out at 26k but you might as well try, these trucks are worth every penny

Anyone else think 27k out the door is possible? Any dealers anyone would recommend in SoCal?

I was at 25k out the door for my 06 (bought Nov 05). I'm in fl so tax is 6.5% and my trade was worth about 11k. Only difference is mine is a shortbed so like 250 different on the sticker. Oh yeah it had some kind of protection package which was like 700 and I said no way will I pay that, since the truck was ordered and they did it "accidentally" they did not charge me for it.

Had it for a little over a month now:

2008 Taco 4x4 (TRD Sport Package + Towing Package) 4 door V-6

sticker was 31 and change...

I got it for 30,000 out the door (yes that means after tax, title, and license)

w/ a back net, and window tint, and a couple books of coupons... Not to mention a full tank of gas!!!

I've driven sports cars all my life, and I've never been happier with a vehicle. Taken it trail riding, mudding, road trip, and performed the horizontal mambo in it already and I couldn't be happier...

I'm a firefighter, so the guys give me cr@p for not owning a full size truck, but I have never been happier!

I also put 20,000 down... So keep in mind, that has a lot of bargaining power as well....

the way the manuals are geared i found it very hard to go fast when i test drove it. I think its geared more for low end torque, not for hauling ass. the auto actually gets better 0-60 times to i believe. the only exception to this would be the X runner. i think.
