the cb radios are a lot of fun. i haven't used mine a lot, but i will mainly be using it on trails and occasionally for traffic. i have a Uniden Pro 520XL and it works well for my needs.

sometimes when i go on long drives i'll put the antennae up and turn it onto the trucker station (it's channel 19 in AZ but idk what it is in other places). sometimes other truckers, or just other people with a cb radio will say if there is an area where there is an accident or where traffic is heavy. in the past, sometimes they'll even say the best route to go to avoid the heavy traffic areas.

the diff locker locks your two rear wheels together no more having one wheel spinning in the ditch and one wheel stationary on the track.

its a traction aid that keep both (rear) wheels turning at the same rate.

great for getting un stuck when cross axeled or keeping momentum when one wheel is in the air.
