It's not really going to help your performance unless you are building a full-on race engine I don't think.

You'll hurt the exhaust scavenging and make it really loud. I've never really personally been impressed with how dumps sound- Great for the race track...but that would be annoying as hell to listen to driving everywhere.

What are you trying to gains from dumps??

dump = lazy exhaust in my opinion. Go for the full system unless youre making a rat rod or a beat ass rock crawler.. Otherwise, nicer newer truck should have the full system

thanks for the replies. Ill take those suggestions into consideration. Basically, was looking for a cheaper solution for a beastly sound. I found some chats on adding some exhaust systems to a V6. The problem is most dont give u that deep sound. So, i guess i need to choose sound or proformance...

    Thx

    It's a 4L V6 man...You aren't going to get a 6L V8 roar out of it.

I'd go with the engine working right (with a good system) over trying to make it sound like something it's not by hurting the performance.

Performance- bored .20 over, Doug Thorely Headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, and K&N cold air intake. Exterior- Trail Gear Solid Axle Swap, ARB compressor, high pinion 4.88 with ARB locker, 4.88 TRD Locker in the rear. Interior- 2 10inch JL W1 subs, Alpine MRX-V70 amp, Alpine type R SPR 17C 6x6 speaker in the back, Focal 165 VR with crossover tweeter up front, and Weather Tech floor mats.
Magnaflow is probably the best way to go if you want deep, wont sound like a V8, but it wont sound as ricey as Flowmaster.
