I am getting ready to drive from Maryland to California and am not happy with the brightness of my headlights. I leave in 7 days and need to address this issue before I start my drive. I really like the look of the Halo lights but am hearing that they are not much brighter then stock. Should I go with a HID kit? Either way, what brand is good. I see these things cheap on ebay but I don't want to get scammed. Advice would be great right now because the clock is ticking...

I REALLY like the HIDS, and they are bright as hell. Many people can give you more info on them, because I don't have them on my truck right now. ;)

yeah I gotta say I have the HID's in my truck and I couldnt be happier with them. I got a set off ebay (vme) made in germany and another off craigslist for the fogs (xentec) Just make sure you get the ones for both bright and dim. Ran into that problem with the first ones I got off craigslist so I had to buy another set off ebay. They were still bright enough but didnt like the fact I couldnt turn on my brights if I needed to!

Halos are just for looks. They're a ring, they look cool and thats about that. Its just like an LED flashlight, they don't illuminate shit. No function.
