Question Transfer case question?

First time post for me I've got to break the ice sometime. I have a 2007 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner V6, 2WD Automatic 48,000 miles. I've changed the differential fluid already and I would like to change the transfer case. I can see the fill plug but cannot see any drain plug anywhere. Can someone help me with this. I can see it in the pic's here on TW web site but their showing a 4WD transfer case and not a 2WD transfer case. Thanks for your help!

A pre-runner doesn't have a transfer case, the driveshaft will be driven straight off the tail of the tranny. A transfer case is only needed to drive more than one shaft off of a common input (ie front drive shaft for 4x4 or a Power Take Off for a utility application).

This has potential disaster written all over it. He found a plug on a non existent part. Later today we will be reading "Help I've drained my Transmission Fluid" j/k

BTW welcome to TW.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks for your replies and yes I am talking about the transfer case and not the transmission (That's a no brainer) I've already changed the oil to synthetic and the spark plugs using TW mods, just trying to give it a good go around I bought this TACO with 45,000 miles on it already and I have no idea how it was taken care of by the previous owner. The darn Toyota manual states 1qt for the transfer case so I thought maybe it had one. Should I go ahead then and change the transmission fluid and what other do's and don'ts should I change?

Don't forget to rotate the air in the tires.

JK.. but like Chris said, leave the transmission alone or take it to the dealer to be serviced.

The no brainer here is you should be taking your truck to a certified mechanic for servicing...Best of luck finding one your trust to do good work!!
