As long as you use good judgement, you should be ok. What kind of tires do you have?

Goooooo out and have some fun! You'll be amazed at the capabilities of your truck.

Be sure to *never go offroad alone* - have atleast 2 vehicles in the group.
Always wear your seatbelts and don't drink & drive.

    Have fun!

Here's another tip for any newbie to 4wheeling. Keep your thumbs on the outside of the wheel. The reason for this is when offroad and the front end drops into a hole or hits an obsticle there is a better than average chance for the wheel to get jerked hard in one direction or the other, and that could lead to a broken thumb. Yes, I have actually seen this happen once.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    Welcome to TW.

If all you could afford was a 2wd, then there is no way you will be able to get the necessary parts for a conversion.

    *transfer case
    *front drive shaft
    *front differential
    *new rear drive shaft

    The list doesn't end there.
