Performance Chips

Can anyone tell me what's the best chip out there for performance and gas milage. Also what experiences you've had with them. I've got an 08 TRD sport and am looking at putting a chip on it. Thanks for the info.

Don't waster your money on a "plug and play" chip. You can get some results from a MAF sensor calibrator to take advantage of things like CAI and exhaust upgrades.

Those "Performance Chips" are snake oil. They dont work. You would want a URD MAF calibrator. There is another one out there, but I cant remember the name of it.

Chris isn't the best typist. I believe he meant to say the URD MAF calibrator.

These chips are the auto equivalent of the Sham Wow. Don't waste your money and why believe this shit? You think if it increased power and added MPG without sacrificing engine longevity Toyota would not have done it?

I pretty much agree with this reasoning, although one could make the same argument against a high-flow air filter or lighter weight pulleys.
