    Hello everyone,

Thanks for such the friendly welcome! I am about to purchase a new Taco. I have a simple question for you. I need to find out if this is a good deal right now, especially the way the economy is. I have been out of the states for a while so please bear with me. I was told that invoice pricing doesn't really matter anymore. Well my offer is $28,768 out the door and then I have a $1500 rebate from Toyota which will bring it to $27,268.

    Thanks for the help!

I am sure they can break it more go to diff toyota dealers and ask them to break the price. trust me these days dealers aredesperate to ger rid of the cars in lots especially the 09 moddels since 10 will be coming out soon. I am sure they can break the price a little more i think its a little pricy but thats my opinion. What City and State ???

Thanks for your opinion! The truck is in ATL, Georgia, they have to pull it from somewhere else though.

I actually think thats a solid deal. Whats keeping it from falling inline with a normal 'good' price I think is the dealer etching and such. You might could talk em down a hair more but I wouldn't expect much. I was told the production on the offroad/sport models was cut back recently which made the prices increase somewhat.

not to many, love it the way it is
you should be able to talk them down to 26,986

$31,749.00 times 85. most dealers want to be at times 87 but will go as low as times 85 if desperate to sell.

Thats a pretty good deal I think. You may be able to get a few extra hundred out of them. Try for another $500 and see what they say.

Thanks everyone! I think I'll try 2 more dealers in the dallas/ft. worth area. I think it really depends on what state your in. I tried about 6 in east TN but they are all outrageous in price and the few that replied back said that they could'nt even come close to that price. 1 guy had the nerve to quote me $32,000! I have always heard that TX or Oklahoma are the best states to buy a truck in. I will be registering the truck in Alaska, no sales tax!! so that will help me out a little. Thanks for everyones input.
