I have a roll up soft tonneau cover, but would prefer a soft cap from Bestop.

I have a regular cab so I needed the extra storage a toolbox brings. I'll put the factory jack in there too when I get my sub box built. I like having an open bed so I can throw my lunch box/cooler in there every morning. I just pull a bungy cord outward, sit the cooler in and let the cord snap tight.

Leaving the 'little' truck naked as I have an ARE hard topper on the Tundra for my hunting gear etc... Plus needing to move tall stuff having it naked works for me...

My vote is for a tonneau. I just added an Advantage TorzaTop. If I want to go naked, it can happen in less than a minute.

Ran tool boxes when farming and had a topper shell for camping. Recently found a 5 foot Tonneau for free and picked up a one foot crossover tool box for 100$. Now I have place to keep the jumper cables, fishing poles and tackle, ball hitch and other assorted junk that I do not need in the cab. If I go camping, I just dump the contents of the attachment rails and install a topper.

That's awesome!!! I've always thought that would be cool to have, but never seen it actually on a truck.

Is there an easy solution for those that put motorcycles in the back, but occasionally travel and would like to put suit cases back there? 99% of the time naked is great, but would be nice while traveling to put suit cases and the like back there.

You could get one of those folding covers or a soft cover. They don't take up much room, so you could pull them off completely when not in use and stash it in the garage.

She's naked right now, but will be making a custom rack for the RTT soon. Not sure if that counts as a cover haha

All depends on your needs, financial situation, security situation, adventure plans, etc, etc.

My first 1980 SB Tacoma (well, not really a Taco, but close enuff) was naked and so was my 1984 Standard LB 5 speed.

My 2007 2.7L Access cab has a trifold Undercover Flex to lock up all kinds of kit and it keeps the honest people honest. Well, hopefully anyways.

My incoming (new to me) 2010 dcsb V6 4.0 L will stay naked for the time being and I'm saving up for an All-Pro Expedition Bed Rack. I'm lucky with the double cab, I can lock my goalie leg pads and hockey bag inside the back seat.

Buy what works for your game, your budget, your cool factor, your comfort level, and your family! :)

    Cheers,
    Barney
