    i just picked up the part #90311-40034 for the leak. I noticed the leak when i was replacing the u joints which fixed my vibration problem ( drives like new. Now i need the change this seal and need some help on how to replace it. there is a certain way it goes in by the looks of the seal. has anybody done it before. help would be appreciated. i understand it not very complicated.

    Would the 09 tacomas be covered for this TSB or did they already change it in production by then?

    As far as warranty goes, this would be drive train, which is 60000 miles, wouldn't it?

    what would the tsb leaf springs be covered as. i have an 07 with 44k?

    i called my dealer and they were arguing with me in regards to this TSB saying it doesn't apply to my 2010 4x2.. Why are dealers so difficult. agh

    A lot of or rode and construction equipment run those type of seals especially rear mains due to operating angle. Bulldozers 45 degrees of road trucks close.

    Drill hole in seal, install screw pull. Keep doing that until it comes out. Use seal install tool or PVC pipe with same diameter to install. Clean drive surface so sealant will adhere correctly (Usually already on seal) Lube inside of seal before installing driveshaft. Clean shaft (DRIVE).
