Called 4wp and they are going to match the price and order them for me. It should take about 2 weeks.

I ordered it but the guy a 4WP told me that BW makes the flares on order. So it will be a few weeks. I'll be sure to let you guys know the results of my fitment.
No one seems to have an accurate account of just how much these things cover over stock?

I'll be sure to clarify the exact amount you can expect from these fenders.

I'm not thread jacking here but here is what mine look like on my 09. Agreed, I didn't like the bolt on look at first but it kinda grew on me. This is the best pic to see how much further they cover, like a built in mudflap.

I wonder if these flares will crack like the Bushwackers I have on my Jeep Wrangler did.
They were good for the first year, or so.

Can you give us the exact amount of additional coverage those fenders provide over stock?

I pm'd you the measurements.;) Also I had them painted and I put them on in about an hour. If you do this mod make sure before you put them on you use a mild abrasive polish to erase the line left behind from the OEMS. These don't line up where the stock ones did and you can see a line left behind if you don't. I polished and waxed the fenders then installed them and it looks much better.

4WP called me today, they said BW is backordered on those flares. They told me it might be late this month or early Sept before they come in.:(

It is about 1.75' over the front wheel and almost 2' over the rear. This biggest difference is that they aren't molded to the body like the OEM's and provide more coverage at the bottoms. Look at my pic of the back one and you can see what I'm talking about.

Is that 1.75" and 2" wider than the stock flares?

    *bump* for an update.

I've been looking all over for flares for my 2009 tacoma but a lot of companies don't make it for that year yet. Any updates on the exact coverage on the BW's if it's from the metal or from stock flares?

bushwacker makes some flares for the SB and LB 05+ tacomas. they are 1.75" of total coverage from the fenders. not too much over the stockers for around $400. jungle fender flares is in the process of making a set for the 05+ tacos as well.
