    hey everyone! first post and just bought an 06 double cab 4x4 trd sport this morning! love the truck. the only thing I was cautious about was it has 79000 miles on it. anyone have higher miles on there second gen?

    Dont worry about the miles. The engine, and drive train are designed to have a 250,000 mile sevice before any major mechanical problems. That doesnt mean its gonna break at 250K either. I have a few friends that have WAY over 200K on their trucks, and they are running fine. :)

    That's good to know! The wife drives a 01 celica gt with 140k on it and runs great. guess i shouldn't be worried.

    I just bought an 05 4x4 v6 ac 6 speed with 98k on it :O it still runs great though, i am at like 99.6 now so almost a 100k ! i am not sure when i will have to replace the clutch though?? It still seems fine though

    welcome! You got me beat I got mine with 46k on it already but I have heard that they will last for quite some time so it should continue to run fine :D

    91k on a 2005...no problems what so ever except a battery but thats just normal wear and tear
