Well we have good conditions here to wring out the Taco.
I have 5 acres between the house and the grainery.
And 93 tillable if I wish to do it at high speed.
Donuts, 4 weel drifts and 180 degree turns are controllable.
The Taco handles well. Being able to punch through and shift to 2 H without getting out to change hubs is a is a plus for skid practice.
Do it now, not on the street.
It does not have the power to tough it out in 4H. I tried it and just went to 4L. I did not stall. It just would not move.
However, it would move in 4L.
It is not a Power Wagon, but once you skid it around a bit and know it`s limitations, it will do most anything that you will run up against.
We know that it is a compromise.
But a good one.

I wrote poetry in school. And after combat. I was published. I no longer have the emotion for it. I do not think this to be my best work.
Just an Emergency Vehicle Operators Course writ fun.
Learning, other than combat, should be fun.
Heck, combat can be fun. So long as you are not doing the dieing.

 

I just bought the Taco in May, so learning that it under steers a bit is not a bad fuel investment.
A 180 in reverse or forward could come in handy.
