Blacking out step bars and bull bars

I want to paint my bull bars and step bars black. Was wondering what type of paint I should use and what grit sandpaper? Should I wetsand or just dry sand?

My buddy did mine.. this is what he used...

the stuff was from "Eastwood"
http://www.eastwood.com/catalogsearc...?q=2k+ceramic+

It is the 2K Ceramic paint. It is for subframes I guess. All he got was this and the hardner.. and painted away. Looks very good, and very durable...

Black out

Here are some pics of painting my bull bar that was chrome and my billet grille. I used rustoleum satin black, duplicolor adhesion promoter, auto promoter, and a clear coat. I just need too polish and buff too get a better shine Also I painted my toyota front emblem with duplicolor silver metallic not a perfect match waiting for color matched paint from automotivetouchup.com to color match my offroad grille(chrome). Next is my step bars that are chrome and my wheels black. Also I was thinking about colormatching my chrome mirror covers/door handle covers I do not know if this will work.Blacking out step bars and bull bars-black-out-001.jpgBlacking out step bars and bull bars-black-out-002.jpg
