I did search and read a lot of great info. I have a '09 Sport LB with the TSB springs. I just ordered a set of 5100's and just want to confirm that the 1.5" setting will take out the rake and make it sit fairly level.

I am a professional truck mechanic and it looks like the install will be fairly straight forward. . .no surprises??

I plan to get it aligned when I have the "car" tires removed and some truck tires put on! :D

    thanks for all your help

Thanks for the pic! at 2.5" there are no issues, brake lines or driveline angles?

The front looks a little higher in the picture, but that's only because the picture is a little crooked.

Well, start with 1.5" and move it to 2.5" if you are not satisfied. As a professional mechanic, I think you would have no problem disassembling and adjusting.

have to do the whole install over again because the coil will need to be removed.

gotcha, thats why I'm fishing for info. . .hate to do twice the work, but then again I want it to be "right" well, at least to my eyes!

Hopefully they go in fast otherwise I will have sucked down too many beers and wont know if it's sitting level or not! :D

well figure like this. Stock the truck is 1.75 inches higher in the rear. The TSB adds .75 inches. So now you are 2.5 inches higher in the back.

This should answer your question as to where you want to put the front 5100s when you install them. With the TSB you want the 2.5 setting to be level. If you use the non TSB rear leafs then the 1.75 setting should make it sit level.

Agreed! IMO a truck leveled off looks so much better than one with that nose down look. I'm not ready for a full lift, I'll save that for something to look forward to down the road a bit.

You should go with a 3" lift from toytec! Not to pricey at all!!! I think you get coils for the front and rear AAL TSB for the rear for around $300.

yeah, I thought of that route but. . .it's still a new truck to me and it's like when you meet a new girl, I don't want to go to fast and spoil her. I want to slowly enjoy the mods over they years. Oh yeah and my garage door clearance is tight as it is. (walks to garage with tape measure)
