Any1 order a 2010?

Just wondering if anyone ordered a 2010 through there dealer yet? Anyone have price difference b/w 2009? Im trying to use my cash 4 clunker f150 POS and get a 2010 ordered, but sounds like gov. is going to be out of money in a a week or 2. Thanks for your help!

 

I would hurry up, I think the man is going to suspend that program because of lack of funds.

 

haha yeah i just read that same thing. Too many people trying to use it. Hurry up and try bc it wont last long.

 

The House just passed a vote to add 2 Billion more dollars to the program. The Senate will likely approve on Monday.

Alot of dealers were afraid they might not get reimbursed due to the high volume of response and the government backlog to approve the reimbursements.

 

Nope. WSJ and NPR reporting that House of Reps has approved another $2B.

Good for another, oh, 7 or 8 days of sales...

 

I'm trying to do the clunker deal too, on a little 4 cyl. prerunner. But the damn dealers are so busy I can't even get a call back. Also, I've noticed that Toyota dealer's websites show trucks from all over, not just what they have in inventory, so it's hard to know what they actually have.

I got an internet quote on one from a local dealer but when I call them to come test drive it, they tell me it's not on the lot, and they can't get a hold of it. Total f-ing BS. Gonna be really surprised if I can actually work this clunker deal on a tacoma...

 

My dealer quoted me about $1500. 00 more for the 2010. This was a week ago. He found me an '09 at another dealer, with the specs I wanted. Now I am just waiting for the suspension of dealer to dealer trading to be lifted, so I can take delivery. My salesman said that the suspension was because of the cash for clunkers deal. The response has been so huge, they are having a tough time controlling inventory between dealers. I don't know if he was feeding me a line of shit, but thats what I was told.

i heard they are actually going to add more funds.. i dont know if it was 2 million or 2 billion.. maybe 2 million..
