What type of job is recession PROOF?

To the OP, if you want ideas on different mods? Check out the link in my sig. I have a list of the things I have done and the basic prices.
    Good Luck!

My job in the service was recession proof up until retirement ;)
Then I spent a couple of years trying to transition...the civilian world is a scary place for sure

Back OT, I didn't lift my truck like Toku (his is pretty sweet ) Most of my mods were creature comforts...tonneau, mat, thule rack, wet okoles, listed in the box to the left
    <----
My favorite mod I did today, a new landscape trailer that cost $1k for my little yard jobs that help support all my play time. I try not to spend it unless I save for it.

Your truck is a white canvas, have fun making it yours!!

With a $1,000, I would add headers and a cat-back exhaust system. Not sure if I could do it for $1,000 but probably pretty close.

Bank it. Krazie Sj is right.

The military. Doctors and nurses. Repo man. Lawyers. There are quite a few I would label as "recession proof", actually.

Ever hear of them getting laid off? I don't think so. When things get bad they're usually hiring MORE.

    ive heard of it

even those jobs arent recession proof...

when the economy turns down...local/state govts lose money too...and that results in budget cuts...which results in cutting jobs

its happened before here...and one of the cities near by just laid off some officers a couple months ago

not to many, love it the way it is

Probably only if it is involved with Monsanto and their gmo - own the entire worlds' food crop production plans. you could become a trucker hauling their seeds, they always need truckers who like to spill seeds on their routes and land in unsuspecting farmers fields :spy:
