The last time I had my truck serviced (30,000 mile) the dealer said I need new front pads and rotors soon, So, I ordered Hawk pads from raceshopper.com. and am doing the brakes myself.

I thought I would measure the rotors when I got into it, because I thought 30,000 miles was pretty low for new rotors already. My rotors measure 29mm and they seem to be pretty smooth (no groves). I found specs for 2006 that say standard is 28mm - minimum is 26mm.

Does anyone have the specs for 2008?

    Thanks,
    GA

I'm not sure of the OEM rotor specs, but they are usually stamped on the rotor its self.

Per 2008 repair manual: 28.0mm thickness, 26.0mm minimum thickness. Sounds like you don't have to replace your rotors if you measured correctly but you should defenitaly have your rotors resurfaced to prevent any possible brake vibration or squeaking
