that doesn't have the side triangular pieces? Like they have been filled in and the shell is one solid piece minus the center section. I think I've seen it before but I'm not sure  It might have been an xrunner concept grille.

I'm thinking about trying something a little different but don't know what to call it if it were recessed and no side triangles. Any help or if any one has pics of one please show

Ya like that pretty much. I think I'm going to give it a try but recess the center portion.

    Has that been done?

Hmm I dunno if I'm that crazy about it on that truck, but on a BSP with the BHLM I think it might look pretty sick. Basically, what you want is that concept grill with the Satoshi mod right? I really think that could look extremely sick if done right :D

Enola I was able to get a couple tips from INTHABLOOD the other day on how he did the side vents. I think it will look pretty good if I can just do the sides. I'm not that big of a fan on how it extends forward.

But ya I think I might go for it since when I was sanding my recessed grill I wasn't paying close enough attention and sanded one of my taped areas. When I peeled back the tape it had scuffed up the BSP grille pretty good so I figure if I need to paint the whole grille over I might as well do something different.

I'm not sure it's necessary to add as much 'overhang' (forward projection on the upper edge) as INTHABLOOD did. His custom grille's 'overhang' always looked substantially bigger than it was on the original concept grille.
