Does anyone know the specs of the fog light relay?

I am looking at getting another one of these to wire in some new Lightforce lights and wanted to know if the relay (#9008087026) would handle the load. It appear the relay is used for several different items such as window relays and stuff, so I would imagine it is at least 20 amps or so. I tried Google with no luck.

If you have the specs, would anyone also know the pin configuration?

Thanks!

I think it's a 30 amp relay. Costs around $55. I bought a 40 amp relay from autozone when I installed my OEM foglights. Got it for much less than that and just ran my own wires.

Here's a pinout, but I'm not sure if it's the exactly the same as the OEM relay. Should be very similar. The pin assignments are usually shown on the top of the relay too.

Thanks for the replies!

afd23a, that is not the same pin configuration as the relay, it looks more like what is used for the headlights and dim relay. I was digging through the 2007 wiring diagrams, and I think I figured out the pins. The relays are either 4-pin or 5 pin depending if they are SPST or SPDT.

jhodge83, do you know what wattage those lights are? I would guess 55w, but it's just a guess. I like the looks of the PIAAs in the fog location. The Lightforce bulbs are 100w, but that shouldn't draw more than10A each, and I wouldn't think Toyota would assign a relay smaller than 20A to so many applications.

Well the parts guy can't tell me either, except that they want $78 for one. I picked up a couple off eBay for $10 each, I am tempted to get another in case I do 4 lights down the road.

I guess I'll just try it. What's the worst that can happen, fry the relay?

I have a 2007 4x4 access cab, Sport, fog lights don't work.
Exactly where is the relay? When I hit the switch I don't here any relay click, should I?
