I sold my 08 Tundra supercharged dbl cab and bought a 09 TRD Tacoma dbl cab long bed 4x4. This is the first time both my son (who I gave my 09 Taco 4x4 reg cab) and myself own 09's now. Mines black, his is white.

So now we have both a father and son in the forum.

Several reasons why I sold it. Cost per mile, high insurance rate in NY and I was a favorite target of the NYS Troopers. I kept it for almost 2 years and loved every mile of it, however I missed my Tacoma.

I am thinking of supercharging the 09 as soon as I can find out more about it and where I can get one.

I hate you:D.....you sell a supercharged tundra then supercharged a Tacoma just like that while you have a dodge challenger R/T :D

Ah you forgot to mention the Solstice turbo too!

The Challenger is not getting any mods, staying strictly unmolested. She is a beautiful machine, very comfortable and gets alot of stares from people driving by. She is not a garage queen except in the winter months.

The Solstice coupe is 1 of 1152 made before production stopped in July and also will remain unmolested and occasionally driven. Unlike the Challenger, it is not built for comfort, and has that old roadster feel about it which I love, including a loud gearbox.

The only reason I was thinking of supercharging the Tacoma was for trailering purposes. I am not sure I will need it, just thinking about it.

The Crossfire (a Mercedes SLK under the skin) was a gift to my gf for summer driving and she will drive the Jeep in the winter. I drive the Tacoma year round and the rest will sleep in the garage over the winter months. There are no garage queens here, each has its own purpose which is for me to enjoy. The Solstice is going to Cape Cod for a Solstice/Sky meet in Sept for 3 days of touring. The Challenger is going up there in Oct for a week of pure fun. In Dec, the Jeep is going to Nantucket to explore the island at Christmas time.

Right now, what I have is a blank canvas. I intend on doing something different from what I have done in the past. I just might try something I saw on a 50's era truck.
