I have decided to start my mod journey with toyo mt 265 70 17 and a leer 100r canopy. What a great truck. I came from a 2008 VW R32, what a great car but had 0 utility function. So i decided to get the tacoma and glad that i did.

Nice truck! Im looking to get the same tires and a cap as well. Im just wondering what the total diameter of those tires? are the 265/70/17 32" in diameter? and if they are have you experienced any rubbing issues? Also are the tires 12 ply i looked on the Toyo website and they ply rating looks like its 12 but im not positive. Did you notice the ride was rougher/ more rigid then your previous tires

These caught my eye. I like the look with the stock setup. Im looking for my next tire on my 13' Taco. These are definitely an option now.

Welcome to the forum. The OP hasn't been on the forum since 2010 so you likely won't get an answer from him but, with stock wheels and zero lift you can run 265/70/17 or 265/75/16.
