Excuse my newbness, but my instrument cluster lights only come on and go off by using the dimmer wheel. So I can turn on and off the headlights all day, but the dash will either stay on or off based on how the dimmer is set. Is that how it's supposed to be?

    Thanks,
    E

Thanks Knight, was just curious. I can live with it.

Yeah...I hate that because it's hard to know if your headlights are on. That is one reason I installed DTRL...so I always had some sort of headlight up there.

You mean other than that fairly bright and obtrusive "headlamps are one" light? lol...

Sorry, I actually meant my running lights - which does not induce the headlight dash light.

I like to have illumination during the day but could never tell if my running lights were on or not. With DTRL...problem solved.
