...

I debadged mine as soon as I got it. And yes...fishing line, gloves, and a hair dryer is all I used. Heat'em up, wrap the line around gloved hands, and pull the line behind the nasty chrome emblem. Clean up with alcohol and wax area. Presto!!
Tip: I used fishing line called Spider Wire(braided) that is very strong and it never broke once.

That easy huh? I was thinking about doing it myself. Now I definitely will.

I don't care about the looks as much as I'm just lazy and found it to be a PITA to polish and wax around and in all of that crap. Life is so easy now!

i didn't think the chrome tacoma on the sides looked too bad, but the tailgate is waay too cluttered with emblems in my opinion. i de-badged the day i brought it home.

I think I will probably take mine off but to just paint them black should look good on the white truck

2 Steps.

1: Blow Dry

2: Floss (just 1 pack is plenty) and start etching!
