Sema Toyota Thoughts?

I was just browsing the internet today and came across this truck from TRD. I think it looks pretty good except for the two tone. I really enjoy the lines of the vehichle though, and that rear suspension is pretty bad ass as well.

Yeah, ditch the gold and it's badass. Saw that posted a few times here.

 

I guess I'm on my own, I think its Fugly! I don't really like the body, looks like the took all the bad parts of a Tundra and put it on that body.

We all seem to agree the two tone paint sucks.

BUT, that rear end.......whoa momma!

I like it makes me think "futurer-istic". What's with the rear end I thought IFS wasn't the best thing for offroading is that the opposite for the rear end?

 

I cant wait to go to sema this year and see what toyota has been working on!!!

 

Toyota should just go ahead and produce is so they have something to go head to head with the new Ford SVT Raptor

 

^I'm all for it. The Raptor's cool and all but it's a niche vehicle. No reason to even try to compete with it.

A friend of mines friend get passes for me and a few others. He just made up a company and put us on as employees lol. 5 of us went back in 07 and it was super fun! Its $25 to go which is so worth it. Nice thing is once your in the system for sema you get sent a pass every year just have to pay then they send it in the mail to you.

 

Why does Toyota slap that silver skid plate on? I even had to have mine powdercoated black. It looked out of place on my Taco let alone that concept truck.

 

I think that thing is awsome, love the suspension.

I think it's ugly

it has the same suspension setup in the rear than the back (UCA, LCA, etc)

 

..can't get over the color scheme puke but other than that it looks promising.

 

Drop the gold and I'd buy it!! If you've seen the 2010 Ford SVT Raptor F-150, it's kind of along the same lines. Not a Ford guy, but if I had an extra $40,000 sitting around, I'd buy it.

 

Eh, not really that impressed. I like some of the ideas on it but overall... I think the stock trucks look a hell of a lot better. The front bumper with the integrated winch and such is a good idea, but most of the aftermarket's got that down better. Overall I like how they're opening up the clearance on the front and back... the flair sides I dunno about, I like widebody kits but that's a little too... I dunno I don't care for it. Honestly it kinda is starting to look like a ford to me.

I do like that steering wheel though, do want (but it needs radio controls!). Also, why does it still have carpet? lol...

 

The steering wheel is pretty bad ass!
