Bestop supertop:

Extang Tuff tonneou cover:

I really like both of them. Only bad part about the bestop is that it shakes a good amount at high speeds. The extang never gave me any issues. Its just sitting in my garage for right now.

I bought my truck and have no idea what brand my tonneau cover is. I'm thinking maybe Leer, but it isn't labeled.

Best picture that I have of the cover.

edit: Found this real old iPhone pic.

Tons of info on here but it helps to know what you are looking for and what you want to spend.

You know the options...which one suits you best? Once you know that, search for threads related to your interest and fine tune your interest (brand, type, color, etc). Once you have a couple options in mind, then start a post and ask for suggestions, pictures or thoughts on your research.

Asking a general question like this won't get you far.

With that said...I have the Access Roll-Up (paid $340 shipped):

I understand what you are saying I just thought it would be good to have one post with all the different kind of lids in one place so other people can see them all , and get some kind of idea what there truck would look like with different lids on them, and what the pro and cons are to all the different lids out there.

Leer 550. No regrets so far. You do lose the use of the bed rails.

I'll guess A.R.E. because of the lock placement.

Undercover - sorry, no photos - I needed a hard cover that was lockable & easy to remove when needed, it's also pretty light. Highly recommended!

How do you attach this lid to your truck ? do you have to drill holes in the rails?

No drilling. Bascially it has a divice that go into the bed rail system and the cover attaches to those. It kind of hard to explain but very easy to put on. A square block slides into the rail system and the other silver piece screws into the silver block. The cover then attaches to the silver piece.

This is towards the tailgate and the second picture is up towards the cab

Undercover @ $700 from dealer. I have no complaints. It's easy to take on and off by yourself. The locks are a little cheesy but they don't freeze. And when you use Mother's Back-to-black on it, it just beads water for like 9 months. See the snow in the background?

not a great pic, but i have the undercover cover as well:

I like the protection of keeping the bed covered. It's easily removable (especially with 2 people, takes like 2 minutes--5 minutes by yourself). I also mounted the hooks for the cover in my garage, so when I don't need it, I take it off and hang the cover on the wall.

Access roll up cover. It's pretty strong! Survived a pretty bad hail storm, other trucks had their covers ripped right through.

When you say "easy on, easy off" are you referring to the entire removal of the cover or just laying it down / rolling it up?

Because I haul a dirt bike and the front tire would damage a rolled-up cover, I wish I would have gotten a cover that is easily removed. My access is not made for easy removal...though it would only take 15 minutes to do it.

To compensate, I built a wood block that fits across my bed to hold the front tire away from the rolled up cover. It also helps to distribute the weight across the entire bed rail (my 04 was bent from the constant pressure on the same section).
The downside is the loss of 2.5" of bed space when hauling the bike. It puts the rear tire almost off the tailgate.
