wheel cleaner

What is a good wheel cleaner for factory Tacoma wheels? I've heard Meguires was good. I don't want to harm the finish. Has anyone used Meguires?

I use clorox wipes, because they dont make a mess like sprays and liquids, and they cut thru the brake dust. They also leave the Taco wheels sparkling.

The best wheel cleaner I have used is Adam's Polishes Green Wheel Cleaner. You have never seen a cleaner cut through grime like this. You will have to order it or find a local dealer. His stuff rules. The wheel cleaner is completely safe to you and the envoirnment.

As for OTC, Super Clean mixed 3:1. China-Mart is the cheapest for it <$8.

Wheel cleaners can get $$$$, so you really need to buy a gallon. I could use one bottle on the trucks 4 tires and rims. The meguiar's stuff is good, but gets pricey if you clean your wheels alot. Thier gallon of wheel brightner is very nice, but very toxic. I would never use it.

Adam's Polishes makes some great products. www.adamspolishes.com. His stuff is a tad more than most. But, everything is made in USA and works fanatastic. His service is the best I have ever seen in a company.

Check em out

Soapy water is the best will not damage finish.
I wash truck usually every weekend, and even though the brakes are still producing a bit of excessive brake dust (1900 miles), soapy car wash solution cleans them up great.

Clean them up nice and put a coat of wax on the wheels to make cleaning in the future much easier.
