    Well if you ever plan on going off road than lift it. But if your truck will never even see a dirt road and you like the lowered look better than lower it. I had a lowered truck before I got this and I hated it. Bottomed out everywhere I went. It was very annoying.

    Sounds like you've already made up your mind.. you want to drop it don't you? Like he said if you are gonna wanna do off-roading lift it, but I'd suggest only going with a 3" especially since you only have a pre-runner. Fit some larger tires and you will be set for now... but if you want to drop it go ahead I think it looks terrible.

    Neither, lowering is for cars not trucks, no disrespect for x-runners. and drop bracket lifts suck. naw but why a 6" lift why not just a 3" mid travel so you get some performance out of your suspension. or just buy some camburg 4" spindles, uca's with a 2.5 coilover. that will give you your height and will ride so much better on the dirt than any drop bracket.

    that is true. but it is possible to make it nice. but very, very hard imho. that truck is very hard to work with aesthetically when you lower it.....
