    can anybody tell me how often should i be replacing my oil transmission and if it is difficult to do it myself?

    Yea, 100k unless you do heavy towing constantly and you might wanna pull it in if you want to say, 50-70k. Only if you're constantly towing though.

    Also, as it's sealed, it's pretty much a stealership only maint item, at least for now.

    I know this is what Toyota says but I plam to power flush mine every 30k miles. At the risk of wasting money I'm thinking it is cheap insurance.

    You might want to look at the cost of a new/rebuilt trans versus 3 preventative maintenance power flushes and make your decision.
