TSB's all approved.

Well, finally a good one for Toyota of Laredo Service Department. They orders parts for the Rear Spring TSB [SU006-07], in prevention of a possible bend of the tailgate they order parts too from its TSB [BO018-07] and for a windshield wind noise they also ordered the rubber windshield molding from an old TSB [NV006-07], three of three on one visit after a bad start with a Service representative (a very negative person), I went today at morning and another Service representative took my Tacoma and after an afternoon call he notified my about all these parts, at least Windshield and Rear Spring parts arrives on Wednesday.

Hope there is no afterjob problems, let see if they keep the excellent service.

Are you sure you need the spring and tailgate TSB? My impression was that they had fixed these two concerns 1/2 way through 2007 and the 2008 should be fine.

 

For the tailgate: Based on the VIN #'s it is needed.
For the rear spring: I have experienced bottoming already with around 400 pounds on the bed (10 sacks of 40# of deer corn).

I bought the truck in October (11th) and production date I think is at end of August 2007.

 

i have an 08 acc cab off road v6 bought in nov 07 where can i get a copy of the tsbs for the springs, tail gate and wind shield noise?
