so my headlights seem to have like a clear film on the outside that have started to peel, you can't really tell unless your face is a foot away, but i notice it, wondering if there was anyway to make it stop peeling, perhaps wet sand the headlights and do a coat of clear over it maybe?
any help would be much appreciated.

This film that you have on their is probably just a protective film that the dealer put on to protect the headlights from rocks, etc. I'm not sure if you can do anything about it besides take it off...

Dealers don't add anything to the headlights. It is the UV protection layer of the headlights.

OP, what year is your Tacoma?
