they fit great and there was no cutting involved at all. i even caught a nice 15% off sale at autoanything.com so i picked up one of those LED light bars for under the tailgate as well. now i just need it to warm up so i can get the double stick tape to stick

also, I found out that i have a hook at my local 'yota dealership. one of my coworker's brother in law is the parts manager at the dealer i got my taco from and I called him up to see if he could work some magic getting me the leaf spring TSB, just to find out that the 09-10's are now included as of 1-4-10. go figure! lol well she is going in tomorrow to get them done along with 4 shocks and an alignment along with the first oil change (might as well let them do it while its in there right?) well thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions as usual. i hope to be posting some more progress and pics up soon, this winter has really taken it out of me. happy new year to everyone.

Alright guys, it was a long winter but I am finally out of hibernation and I got around to getting my cap on the truck. Here are some pics of the progress along the way. I took it to my buddies garage since he is set up for paint so I didnt have to 'over-spray proof' my shop. enjoy the pics...

here is how it sat all winter until i got around to pulling the windows out

Thanks to the member on this board who had posted up the thread about the 3rd brake light wiring...i did a quick google search and it popped up with the info that the green/red wire was the stop lights this way i didnt have a blinking 3rd brake light from tapping off the directional on accident haha.

well there it is guys, practicly a brand new cap for $650 including the original purchase from someone on craigslist and paint and new window seals, rivits, new t-handle and trim. so dont be afraid to tackle this project on your own, its not that hard trust me
