Blocks or add a leaf ???

Ok ordering my lift, 3inch, and was wondering what opinions are on either blocks or add a leaf for the rear.

 

never had a block on my truck but just put my 3 inch on and the add a leaf didnt raise it NONE

 

well from what i understand by adding a block u might get axle rap and u cant really out all the big of a load on your bed... My adding a leaf u dont have that problem.. blocks is the cheaper and easier way to do it.... Its up to u and what u do with it...

 

I would do a ad a leaf toytect makes a good 2" one., blocks will give you axle wrap, my friend snapped his leaf spring doing some wheeling with a 3" block. but if your only on the street then u will be fine with the blocks.

 

Get an aal but make sure its a long one for a smooth ride instead of a short one. If you want to spend a little more money go with like a 3 pack aal from icon.

 

Definately get an AAL.

I've seen 2 blocks crack & break from the torque while wheelin. It's an ugly mess when they break. The block & pieces of it come flying out, the pinion flies upward into the underside of the bed, u-joints break, driveshaft damage and god knows what else.
