Seat covers for '09-'10 reg cab Tacos...

Has anyone found these? I cannot seem to find any and I suspect it is because the SRS airbags are incorporated into the sides of the seats, thus preventing the use of seat covers. If anyone know otherwise please advise! Thanks!

They are very pricey but I heard many great reviews. I'll be getting them eventually. The seat air bags are a pain in the butt for covers. All I ever found where the Wet Okole's. I'd prefer to go a cheaper route but can't find any other options besides blankets

 

Style #109 looks like the Tacoma Regular Cab seat. There's a check box on the order form for side impact air bags. I haven't ordered a set yet, but there's a thread on the expedition portal website about seat covers that mentions the fit and quality.

I'm getting Coverkings in a couple months. The ones I'm looking at for the bench Taco is listed at $150, which is one of the cheapest fabrics but looks good in pics. I have a pic of them installed on somebody elses Taco I can post when I get home.

 

I have to agree. Not very professional looking. Maybe the Wet Okole's are worth the extra coin.

 

Anyone try the CoverKings for the dual cabs. They have a neoprene cover (looks like the WOs but less expensive)?

If you wanna save coin, get any seat cover you like, and cut slits in them where the airbag deploys. That's Wet Okole does....

 

Does anyone know where the air bags come out of, got my TRD seat covers and didnt realize I had stupid airbags, and does anyone know what would happen if they did go off with the seat covers on

 

These are the same Coverking seat covers I'm getting. I already have black leather headrests in now (not a cover). I'm cutting out my middle seat belt later today and throwing it in the garbage since Mini Me and I are not on speaking terms anymore.

dude those white seats look sick. I think those are the best looking ones i have seen yet. I dont think it would go with my BSP though damn!!

 

as mentioned in the links above. Marathon seat covers are by far the best i've ever had. They are worlds above the quality of wet okole and this i know from personal use of wet okoles on a couple jeeps. Wet okoles will provide a good case of swamp ass when warm.

Marathon will send you sample colors/fabrics. I have them on a regular cab 4x 07 and also picked up a full set for the fj and the fj has all sorts of airbags and the covers are properly designed to allow for the airbag deployment.

Their customer service is also tops.

I can snap pics if you want since the coverking ones posted about looked to be a different type of material. They look like that softer material. the marathon are made of out heavy duty cordura, and i mean burly sh it. Perfect for the dogs and keeping the seats new when wheeling and camping.

 

Found these on eBay. Have ordered a set already. Looks like the perfect solution.

...But they are not quite perfect...The fit is very good, materials are quite nice, overall design is nice. They even have built-in allowances for the seat airbags. My only issues (with my '10 reg cab bench seat) are that a couple of the securing straps (specifically the corner securing straps for the seat back) are too long and instead of threading the straps through the included buckles I had to TIE them together because the buckles are about 6" too long to use them. The tying did serve to securely anchor the cover and the cover looks nice (velour; other options included twill and 'endura').

Fitting the bottom of the bench seat cover was another story altogether. The rocket scientist that designed the non-detachable middle seatbelt is deserving of the Darwin award. It effectively prevented the proper installation of the bottom seat cover resulting in 'ripples' that cannot be rectified without cutting the bottom cover to get around the middle seatbelt. The bottom securing strap is two 4-foot strips of velcro that seem to get caught on every inch of carpet available during installation; I feel this would be a great place for another strap and buckle setup. I am going to see how the loose center section does after a period of usage and if it doesn't work I am going to cut the cover and get it secured properly.

 

That center belt can be disconnected. There's a DIY someplace. I choose the easier route and just cut it out and threw the long half in the garbage and tied the remaining part behined the seat in a knot because I'm lazy that way and pushed the clip under the seat.

I was going to order Coverkings but the place that sells them doesn't sell them anymore, so I went with GT seat covers. They stopped selling Coverkings because they had a bad return policy. The GT seat covers have a 2 month return policy. If you don't like the way they fit you can return or exchange them, your choice. I went with a black spacer mesh type fabric that's suppose to breathe good and help keep from sweeting.

If I don't like them, I'm going to probablly order Coverkings from them directly or Wet Okole's.
