base model bumper and bedlined bed extender pics fwiw

hey guys
fwiw. couple useless pics of my base model black rear bumper swap, and i finally got a bed extender. the silver stuck out like a sore thumb. bed lined it with duplicolor bed coating. came out legit. before someone posts...i had to mount my bed extender an inch or so higher than usual to clear my quad tires when i use it. enjoy. might help people that cant make up their mind on a color matched or black rear bumper
i will be color matching it eventually.

Where'd you get the bumper from?

 

posted a "want to trade" ad on CL
local dude hit me up. he was rearended and bought a complete new bed from an 09. he wanted the chrome....i wanted the black.... worked out great.

goes to show.... there ARE people out there that want the chrome.

 

I sure have a chrome in perfect condition I'd gladly trade lol. Nice find man.

Congrats! I remember how freaking excited I was when I found someone to swap me their base for my chrome! My wife probably wanted me to can it after the first hour after actually having it on my truck lol.

haha i know what you mean. I took mine off when i got off work on friday (meeting the guy early saturday morning) had to roll around w/ no rear bumper. no rear bumper+ slight socal lean= no bueno the woman was pissed
