Bed mats, what brand is best?

I did a search under "bed mat" and "mat" under 2nd generation and didn't get anything.

Can you guys recommend a mat that prevents slipping of items. Is the Toyota mat the best?

Will not carry stuff that's heavy in the back so don't need to have it hard to protect from dings. Just need a slip resistant mat.

I have one that I bought locally. It was only $40 where I bought it and is atleast 1/4" thick at its thinnest point and 5/8" thick at its thickest point. It's really sticky (rubbery).

It's a *Protecta* brand.

(I did not buy it here - just a site for information)

Farm (stall) mat in mine. Cut it to size. $40 in Ag or hardware stores, but got mine from a friend free. 5/8 thick rubber and weighs 80 lbs for a shortbed. Works great & is indestructible.

Toyota mat IS the best. Best fit and thicker than most other generics. Have had one in my last 3 Toyota Trucks.
