Finally got around to adding this function to my vehicle and I am very happy to have gotten it done. I was worried that it wouldn't work due to it not having the appropriate wiring, etc. All worries were taken care of once I turned it on and took it for a CRUISE!

Thanks to Salsataco for the sale of the parts!

'Grats. That and wiper mod were the best ones for me.

Yeah...I did the wiper mod and would like to do the criuse as well. Is everyone fairly certain that it would work on an '09 base?

I would strongly reccomend you read the whole thread on it , at least the part concerning 09s, there was some issue about a "clockspring "wire(?). That sorta came after I started my 08

I have the 2009 base 4x2 DC and I ordered the cruise control kit from "the cruise control store" and all I had to do was remove the air bag and plug it in, the rest of the truck was already pre wired. Works perfect, took all but 10 minutes to complete.

I checked mine out using the diagrams given on the post about the mod. Everything seemed to be there but I was still afraid I maybe missed a wire or something. In the end I just went for it, if it did not work then I was sure I could sell the parts here since most will want to try it as well (if they do not have cruise).

Good luck and I hope you have everything you need for it to work.

Well did a quick check...looks like I'm missing most of the wires in E7. Oh well, I may piddle around with it some more when I get time.

Mine's an '09 base, regular cab, auto, 2wd, built 12/08 in Cali.
