4x4 Model: Installing X-Runner Lower Valance Cover

I was fortunate enough (I think) to find an X-Runner owner who is going to shoot me over his lower bumper cover. I was curious how those of you who have one have installed it on your regular Tacoma. As I understand it, the X-Runner bumper is already set up for it.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

does the black valance part pop out the xrunner bumper, or do you have to take the whole xrunner bumper??

I would imagine it would be a ready-to-install deal but with that said, why would you want less of an approach angle on a 4x4?
