Cool black out chrome around grill and emblem(help)

I would imagine its the same cheap chrome paint that's on the inside of the headlights so just sand it down a bit and spray on Krylon Fusion Paint (designed for plastic). You can use the BHLM thread as guide.

if you want it to look good you're probably gonna have to replace the grille. thats what i did. i found a guy willing to trade his sport grill for my chrome off-road grill

preheat it to 300 and then turn it off and leave the headlight in for 5-6 minutes. if you still cant pry it apart, put it in for a lil longer. just make sure to turn the oven off before you put them in.

I think the only reason for the oven is to melt the lens assembly adhesive so you can get it apart and get to the part you're going to paint.

yeah...there's no need to heat the grille...a light sand and some krylon fusion paint is all u need. like rob said, u only put the stuff in the oven to heat the adhiesive in order to pry open the headlights
