Yeah, really. What the hell is this gimmick? I was in the car business for over 5 years and never heard of that! Fill me in, so I can try it!

    Pretty much stock
it goes like this....i have never tried it and saw a video of it being done so use at your own risk.

    From another forum...

I did this on my car the other day, I had a small dent, the size of a nickel on the rear quarter panel.

I used to dry ice on it and the dent is no longer there [IMG]

    The way to do it:

Use a heat gun on the section that has a dent, get it really hot.

Once it's really hot, put the dry ice on it and hold it for 5-6 mins.
You will hear the dent pop out when you're holding the dry ice. Regardless let 5-6 mins go by in total.
DO NOT press too hard. (if you have to hold it)

Use gloves, DO NOT touch the dry ice with your bare hands.

After 5-6 mins has gone by, remove the dry ice, put the heat gun to it again for 1-2 mins.

    And the dent is gone.

The whole point of using dry ice is so the paint won't flake nor will it leave any marks, so you'll never be able to tell there was a dent there in the first place.

So I went with the paintless dent removal... it ended up costing my $100, but it looks a lot better. You can still see the scratch and the light spot where the paint was weakened, but the dent is definitely gone. I guess I'll take it in to get painted one day when I'm bored and have a little extra cash. Moral of the story: Use your back up cam!!!

Remember, the camera is your friend.

Use it before and while backing up, not to see what you hit after you have already backed into it.

next time go and get yourself a ding king cost about $20 same thing that the paint guy uses. Also instead of getting a whole new tailgate just reskin it for 1/2 the price
