Quick question..

I just picked up my 2010 Taco w/ the sports package. My question is this...how many remote entry key fobs are supposed to come with this? I only got one but two keys....any info would be great thanks!!

 

I can't speak for '10's, but when I bought my '06 on June 30th of 2006, I recieved TWO remotes with keys, and a third key with grey rubber that is supposed to be some valet key.

 

My '09 came with 2 fobs with black keys and another grey valet key.

Got mine back in May.

bought an 05 used from the dealer a month ago...it had two fobs, two full keys (black), and one valet key (gray).

 

Same on my 08...that's what your suppost to get. My dad bought a new 08 Tundra and they tried to give him only one fob/key plus valey (grey key). Come to find out they lost the other, happens quite often from what I hear. We got his truck re-keyed gratis.

 

Yeah I got 2 pads with my 2010 and 3 keys along with a metal tag with a id number to make copies, Ive heard of dealers doing this because they can sell the extras and reprogram them
