All Weather Mats for 2007 Tacoma

Having owned my 2007 Tacoma regular cab for a month now, I made the first truck-related purchase yesterday when I visited a Toyota dealership and bought the 2007 Tacoma-specific All Weather Mats. These black rubber All Weather Mats are a bit expensive at the dealership, but they look great and I wanted to get the model-specific ones so that I could fit the hooks to keep the driver's side mat from slipping under the pedals.

Couldn't be happier with the peace of mind that comes with these mats, since I tend to do a lot of hiking in the north Georgia mountains and such. It's good to have something that I can simply remove and hose off from time to time.

The Tacoma didn't have any floor mats to speak of when I purchased it, but the carpet looked brand new. Having only owned the vehicle for a month, though, I knew that it would become worn in the not-too-distant future with my size 14 Doc Martens, New Balance running shoes, hiking boots, etc. Also, we luckily haven't had any ice storms here in Georgia this year yet, but I figured that one might very well occur in the next month or two.

Paid about $75 yesterday and, while I've seen them onsale for $40-something online recently, I went ahead so that I wouldn't fool with paying shipping costs, waiting a couple of weeks for mats to arrive, etc. Still, I hope these things will last awhile for the money.

Thoughts from other Tacoma owners who have these All Weather Mats? Are they as durable as they seem to be so far?

Can't beat WeatherTeck mats. Expensive but worth the money.

i bought some the other day myself. 75 bucks is way too much i paid 55 with tax (almost 10% sales tax in TN) and everything at the dealer.

don't get me wrong they wanted me to pay like 80 and then i was like why are yours so much? i can get them at http://www.toyotapartsstore.com/ for much less. the part guy was quick to say well i can sell them to you for around $49 plus tax. i did the same thing with my tacoma bed mat as well

Love mine also. Was going to order Weathertech's on-line until parts guy at dealer showed me these. Toyota mats are much thicker with deeper well to trap gunk and grime. I have had Weathertech's in the past and was satisfied but these go a step further. Gotta have em with screwed up Cleveland weather. Best part is got dealer to throw them in with new TRD Sport.

I thought about buying those mats as well... until I seen the weathertech floor mats... they cover like a glove.. leaving NO exposed carpet.. which was great for me.. you can even sweep out the dirt and it will just fall right out of the truck... pretty cool.. I like em.. got the fronts and back for $140

Literally hours after I typed my initial post here, it started to snow here in Atlanta and, while it turned to rain eventually, there was still plenty of ice on the ground here overnight. Didn't think that I'd need the All Weather Mats so soon.

In retrospect, I probably should have negotiated the price like Zebra did, but it's all in the past now and I'm just glad that I had these before the snow/ice.
