I had ordered my OEM fog light switch, relay, and the intermittent wiper switch and all came in from the dealership (matched the trdparts4u prices), except for the intermittent switch. They say that is is discontinued and so they were not able to receive it.

The one I ordered was for the 2008 as the 2009 switch is reversed for speed selection. I wouldn't think it would be discontinued so I am at a loss. Have any of you heard about this?

    Thanks!

Why can't you run the 09 switch in your 09 truck?

I wanted the 2008 switch as mentioned on some of the other threads about the 2009's having the speed selector reversed.

That is the only reason, but they still couldn't get the 2009 one either.

I knew you could order them, I guess i was just wanting to know if anyone else had been told the same thing from the dealer. I will just re-order it from somewhere else!

I just called my local Toyota dealer here in Seattle about 2008 int wiper stalk part # 84652-04141. That's what I put into my 2009 Tacoma & it works correctly. They quoted me $155, said they could order it, no problem! :D

I was just curious, maybe my dealer is being misinformed, I will order it from a different source.
