If you have a new truck, these sorts of additives should not be needed. I've got over 129K miles on my '99 and have never ever used any oil additives and it still runs stronger than it did the day I drove it off the $tealer's lot.

It must work, as Carrol Shelby uses it in all his cars, and he just sold some old Ford Mustangs, and an even older British AC convertible (that didn't even have the stock engine) for a substantial chunk of change at an auto auction held in a tent out in the desert:D

"Class Action" lawsuit. I got something like this back a while ago for another product that I never even knew how they got a hold of my address and name.

Anyway, I got $28 back for a non car related product that was bunk.

I agree with not adding anything but fresh fluids of the same kind, upon time to change them.

I must have filled out a product warranty card. That's the only thing I can think of.

i had never heard of z-max, then i started watchin "Truck U" and those guys are big time sponcers!!!!! every 7 minutes you hear about them!!!!

but my take on it is like everyone else, it's a new truck so you should be more than ok without it..... i plan on keepin this truck a LLLLOOOOOONNNNGGGGGG time..... 20+ years, so maybe then i'll be lookin for something...

Additives are a waste of money. Your truck will last 300k miles if you just change the oil and filter every 5k miles.

    German Castrol or Mobil 1.
